Pumps

Industrial pumps are heavy-duty pumps used to move low viscosity and high viscosity substances such as water, chemicals, grease, petroleum, syrups, wastewater, food products, and slurry. The two common types of pumps used for industrial applications include centrifugal and positive displacement pumps. Each of these two pump types come in several variations, with each providing different functions.

Pumps are application-specific and used by a broad range of industries, including:

  • Chemical Production
  • Food & Beverage Processing
  • Oil & Gas
  • Manufacturing
  • Mining
  • Municipal & Wastewater Treatment

Pumps and Pump Accessories from Top Manufacturers

PS-AZ is an Arizona-based distributor offering pumps and pumps parts from several top manufactured brands. Whether you need a new pump or are searching for a comparable replacement for an existing pump, we have a solution with the discharge pressure and flow rate you need.

With a range of pump styles and material options available, our team can help you find the best option based on your application requirements. Our selection of pumps includes:

Ingersoll Rand and ARO® Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps

We are an authorized distributor of ARO® diaphragm pumps in sizes from 1/4” to 3”. Air operated diaphragm pumps perform well in applications involving substances with high viscosity. Select from a variety of construction options to fit virtually any pumping application. Materials include aluminum, cast iron, stainless steel, and polypropylene with different elastomer options. ARO pump parts, including air and wet side repair kits, are also available.

Centrifugal and ANSI Pumps

Centrifugal pumps are the most widely used pump for industrial applications due to their versatility and ability to handle a range of water-based substances. Our inventory of centrifugal pumps includes a variety of styles from top manufacturers, including ANSI pumps. Select from cast iron, bronze, or stainless-steel construction and sizes up to 1-1/4” to 1-1/2”. We also carry a variety of centrifugal pump parts for repairs and maintenance. Manufacturers include Xylem Goulds, Crane, Weinman, Deming, Burks, Prosser, Scot Pumps and Systems.

Submersible Pumps

Our offering of submersible pumps includes cast iron and stainless-steel models for pumping wells, pits, sewers, and more. An impeller and hermetically sealed motor pushes fluids through the pump and eliminates the issue of cavitation for worry-free operation. Select options from multiple industrial pump manufacturers in sizes from 1-1/2” to 2”. Manufacturers include AMT, Xylem Goulds, Barnes, Prosser, Deming Pumps and Systems.

Self-Priming Pumps

Self-priming pumps are a type of centrifugal pump designed to sit above the pumping liquid. These pumps require no priming and handle substances ranging from clear liquids to fluids with limited solids. We carry self-priming pumps from several manufacturers to meet a variety of application needs. Options include electrically, gas, and diesel-driven models with port sizes from 1” to 1-1/2”. Manufacturers include Xylem Goulds, Iwaki, Griswold, AMT, MP, and Barnes.

Magnetic Drive Pumps

Magnetic drive pumps are ideal for semiconductors and other applications involving chemicals or caustic substances. Our inventory includes large cast iron pumps lined with PFTE or Teflon, and plastic and stainless-steel models. Most of the magnetic drive pumps we carry feature a seal-free design and dry run application. Manufacturers include Iwaki America, March, Sethco, and Finish Thompson.

Gear Pumps

Gear pumps are a type of rotary displacement pump that uses rotating gears to transport high viscosity or high lubricity products. Typical applications include oil, grease, cornstarch, adhesive, asphalt, and other substances that require a gentler approach to pumping. We carry several options from manufacturers, including Tuthill, Oberdorfer, and Nomad.

Metering Pumps

Metering pumps are designed for dosing applications including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and municipal water treatment. They pump gallons per hour or less for use in low flow, low dose, or high-pressure applications. We offer metering pumps in plastic or stainless steel from manufacturers including Iwaki-Walchem, LMI, and Pulsatron.

Drum Pumps

Drum pumps insert directly into a drum or barrel to empty the container or transfer substances between two drums. Applications include food and beverage, chemicals, and oil and gas. Our inventory includes manual, electrical, or air driven options in stainless steel or plastic. Manufacturers include Flux, ARO, Graco®, Sethco®, and Lutz.

Progressive Cavity and Peristaltic (Hose) Pumps

Progressive cavity pumps are positive displacement pumps used for highly viscous materials. These pumps work for several applications and are ideal for handling shear sensitive substances. Peristaltic (hose) pumps are another type of positive displacement pump that features a flexible tube for removing fluids. We offer both pump styles in several sizes and options to meet your needs.

Lobe and Flexible Impeller Pumps

Lobe pumps are a non-contacting style of pump that positive displacement to move substances. Common uses include sanitary food production, pharmaceuticals, soaps and surfactants, and adhesives.  Flexible impeller pumps use positive displacement to move fluids with a constant flow rate. They are widely used in wine and dairy industry applications. We offer several varieties of both pumps from manufacturers including Ampco, Waukesha, and Jabsco.
